Tempo

Tempo feels like stepping into a quiet, sunlit room filled with calm energy—grounded, thoughtful, and almost meditative.

The first impression is soft but distinctive. Patchouli appears immediately—but not the heavy, dirty kind. This is clean, airy, almost transparent. It smells like dry earth after sunlight, mixed with a faint green freshness. There’s a gentle lift from herbs and citrus-like brightness, giving it a smooth, almost “breathing” quality. 

As it develops, the scent becomes more interesting and textured. Clary sage and mate add a slightly aromatic, tea-like feel—calm, intellectual, and subtly bitter in a pleasant way. It’s not loud or attention-seeking… it feels like quiet focus, like sitting alone with your thoughts in a peaceful place. 

In the dry down, the patchouli deepens, becoming warmer and more grounded. There’s a soft woody earthiness, slightly smoky but still clean. A faint powdery touch from violet smooths everything out, making it feel refined rather than rugged.
